This is an upclose pastel piece I did of my friend who broke my heart. I actually got to state VASE with this one, but I was 2 points away from getting a gold seal. AHHH!! That really sucked. I like naming my pastel pieces that I do of my friends really werid names because it always has something to do with an inside joke. Also, every pastel piece I've done of a friend on pellon has had a gradual shading blue background. It's a series of friends I guess you could call it.
I believe I used every color in the box of pastels to create this piece, and it's so big! But it was a lot of fun doing it, even though I continuely made a huge mess. XD |
