This was a self portrait project from 10th grade done in ebony pencil. You had to have yourself in it twice, so I have my body, and my face on a milk carton.
This artwork was to show that when we feel that the walls of life are closing in around you and that you feel like you want to escape from the world, to fly away where no one could possibly find you, there is always someone watching you, looking for you. You can never escape life. You can never escape your fate.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
